Happy Birthday Wishes

Hello there to my faithful blog followers, and to the new friends that have found their way here from Mary Fish's Stampin' Pretty.  Today I have a fun project to share with you.  It is my Birthday today, so I thought a fun birthday project would be fitting.

I have always done Birthday in a bag gifts, but I wanted to try something new.  Canning jars are so popular lately, I thought it would be the perfect way to update my project.

I started with this plain Ball jar, partly because it had a gold lid, and you know me, I am really into the gold lately.  I would suggest that you find one with a wider opening, since this one was difficult to fill.

Here are the contents that are usually found in my Birthday bags, a card, chocolate, a candle, matches, a balloon, and some confetti.

Are you spying all of the new Stampin' Up! products?  Almost all of the items I used will be available to you in just a few days.

There is a High Tide suite, which of course we had to have since we have a sailor, and know so many sailors, it was a given that these products would be on my first preorder, as well as the Gold Fancy Foil designer vellum pack.

This page of High Tide DSP, has a ship in a bottle, perfect for this project!  This card was sized especially to fit in the jar.

I had a lot of fun making this special Birthday in a Jar for our friend Dawn, she is of course, a sailor and a mom of three boys, so she doesn't get to see many girlie items come through her house, it was great to make something just for her.

So, what do you think?  Would you like to make one of these jars or would you like to receive one?  I would like both!  Please leave a comment on your thoughts or email me if you have any questions.  Thank you so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Stamps:  Hello, Sailor, Settin' Sail, A dozen thoughts, label love
Paper:  High Tide DSP, gold fancy foil designer vellum, pacific point and soft sky
Ink:  Gold metallic encore pad, pacific point and soft sky classic ink
Tools:  Big shot, chalk talk framelits, starburst framelits, banners framelits, arrows embossing folder, circle punches, small scallop punch, gold bakers twine, gold sequin trim, natural chevron ribbon, pacific point striped ribbon
