Ho, Ho, Ho to You

Hello there!  Thanks for joining me today, here is my goddess card for the Stampin' Royalty challenge blog.  The challenge this week is a color challenge using Gumball Green, Real Red, and Whisper White, or very similar colors.  Grab your provisions and create anything using these colors, and link it up.

This is a version of my own Christmas cards that I am sending out this year.  I just made one card in these colors to fit the challenge this week.  I grabbed my polka dot parade DSP, and embossed a piece of gumball green core'dinations with the chevron embossing folder.

A little clear heat embossing on my gumball green Ho, Ho, Ho gives a little shine.

I made my own chalkboard art with A Banner Christmas stamp set, I added the star and Noel stamps as well.  I loved all of the images and thought they would work well together as "art".  How did I do it perfectly every time?  Take a look:

It was pretty easy to change, remove, and straighten this way.  I stamped my whisper white craft ink on basic black card stock for that great chalkboard look.  Would you like to see my actual Christmas cards?  If you said yes, have a look,

Pretty much the same, except I used the season of style DSP, along with cherry cobbler and old olive colors and accessories.  I really tried to keep them simple this year, both for ease of making a ton of them as well as to be able to mail them easily.

Here is the inside, courtesy of MDS, I love how with three stamps and a text box you have a very professional looking card.

So, I have to ask, which version do you prefer?  The bright gumball green and real red or the elegant cherry cobbler and old olive?  I have to say for me, it is a toss up, but I am leaning toward the elegant cherry cobbler only because the DSP has more designs.  Leave me a comment on your favorite, I love to read them all.

Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
