Booooo To You!

Time for some PPA fun! Grab your crafting supplies and this great sketch - an original Moody - and play along! Imagine all the possibilities!  Head on over to Pals Paper Arts to check out some great inspiration from the fabulous design team and post your own entry.

I am so excited to share this card with you for a few reasons.  The first being that there are some great new products available in the new Holiday Mini catalog, second, this is my first Halloween card of the season, and I LOVE Halloween, and third, because I feel that I got a bit of my lost mojo back when I was making this card.

Look at this cute little tag!  This is part of the Ghoulish Googlies designer kit, which can come in a bundle with stamps!!  Can you believe it??  When you order the bundle you get 15% off, you gotta love savings, I know I do.

I partook in the bundle savings, and got the clear mount bundle (129853) which includes the above tags, bags, googly eyes, pumpkin pie bakers twine and the Googly Ghouls stamp set.  I love it!

I stamped both the little bat and the BOOOOOO in versamark then heat embossed with black embossing powder.  I love a little shine.  I used the new finishing touches edgelits to make a spooky flag.  You don't have to be perfect for Halloween cards, a bit off, is perfect!

The black mat behind the bat tag was made using the new delicate doilies sizzlits.  It has a slightly torn edge look that fit just perfectly behind my bat.

Since most Halloween cards are fun and quirky, I thought that I would tie my ribbon in knots, why just lay it flat?  Quirkiness fits perfect here!  I really loved how it turned out.  You can also see my quirky sewing, and that was not on purpose, my machine was acting up on me, but I think it will work out great on this card.

So back to the best thing of all about this card, is this fun,and quirky new Howlstooth & Scaringbone DSP.  Look at the fabulous prints, colors, and textures that are included in the pack of paper.  I love it, it is one of my favorite Halloween papers.
This is a 5x5 card that will fit in a square envelope, and should mail pretty easily.  I might have to make more of them, I just love it.
Thank you for stopping by, please drop me a line and let me know what you think.  I really do enjoy reading all of your comments.   I hope I inspired you today to get out your Halloween supplies and start your own new favorite card, enjoy!

So cute, Sandie! Love the knotted ribbon, what a great detail to add!
Love your card this week! My favorite part is how you knotted the ribbon and I also love the fact that you used up one of the tags from the Ghoulish Googlies designer kit as the backdrop for the bat image.
