Artisan Finalist Blog Hop-Day 5
Hello there! We are half way through our ten projects already, wow! I hope you have enjoyed what you have seen so far, I know that I am enjoying all the pictures and info myself. Did you all enjoy Amy O'Neill's project? I did! Here is my project for today:
I wanted to include a CAS (clean and simple) card with my card projects. CAS is very trendy now, and I thought ribbon would be a perfect way to keep is CAS, but still add some texture.
Some of this ribbon has been retired by now, including the blushing bride ribbon and card stock. The seam binding, crochet, and ruffled ribbon are still available. I just attached the ribbon how I wanted it to a scrap piece of card stock and hid it under my blushing bride card stock.
The tone on tone stamp is from the Rue Des Fleurs stamp set and runs from side to side. A simple calypso coral scallop border dresses it up.
I love how this sentiment panel came out, can you guess what the background stamp is? It is a flower stamp from the Mixed Bunch stamp set. Here also is another altered label framelit, this is the smallest label sized down. Gotta love pearls though to anchor a sentiment.
Both the sentiment Thanks and the inside stamps are from the stamp set Kindness Matters. A little coloring with markers finished off the pretty butterflies.
There you go, a CAS card full of ribbon. Hop on over to Amy Roger's blog at Amy's Stampin Creations for your next AA project. Thanks so much for stopping by again today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
