Happy Birthday Cupcake

Today's Simple Saturday card is for my Aunt who is turning 70 soon.  I needed to make sure it was easy to mail and get it out today so she can have it in time for her big day.  I have not used the cupcake punch and matching Create a Cupcake stam set much, and I really do not know why.  It is a very simple process to have beautiful cupcakes ASAP.

The background paper is Sweet Stitches from the Occasions catalog, I ran it through the Big Shot with the Framed Tulip EF, easy peasy!  The circle is punched using the 1 3/4 circle punch.  The scallop rectangle is a nestie die, all very quick and easy.

The sentiment is from the Create a Cupcake stamp set, I just made a banner out of it and popped it up to give a little punch.  It was cut out of a piece of scrap that had been previously embossed with the Finial Press EF.  A piece of Early Espresso ribbon, anchors it all.

Try this card out, I have done the hard part by figuring it all out, you just have to put it together!  Remember all of the ingredients above, with the exception of the Sweet Stitches DSP and the nestie die, are still available and you can shop right now in the comfort of your own home, just click on the Shop With Me button.  Hope you have a wonderful Memorial Day weekend!

Cute card, Sandie! I know what you mean about under-using this set and punch!
