Mojo 189
I have to say I am a little behind, I am just now finishing up my Mojo Monday challenge card. It is a great layout, and I wanted to give it my full attention. This card is going to a very special person for her birthday.
This card features polka dots which were stamped with Circle Circus and then embedded embossed through the square lattice embossing folder, then matted nicely. The focal flower was a bunch of bits of ribbon folded and glued to a circle base. The center sentiment was punched with the scallop circle, stamped with the hostess set Something to Celebrate. The ribbon colors are the same as the card stock, Pink Pirouette, Early Espresso, Rich Razzleberry, Victoria ribbon, very vanilla. The Pink Pirouette DSP was from a retired pack, and the Rich Razzleberry layer was embossed using the Backgrounds 1 texturz plate. The small flowers are from the itty bitty punch pack, and topped with basic pearls.
This card is a big card, 4 3/4 x 6 tall. I made the flower first and when it was finished, it took up way to much space on a normal size card, so since I had some big envelopes left over, I knew I could make it bigger.
The birthday bliss stamp set was used for the small sentiment, I first made my very vanilla cs glittery with some champagne mist shimmer paint, then stamped in Early Espresso and punched with the word window punch. The rich razzleberry background punch was a tip from stampinpretty.com using the decorative label punch that you punch down. Enjoy!
