More Past Projects
So today and yesterday I have been in the craftroom preparing 18 gift card holders for the Athletic Banquet at Mackie's school. There are baseball, basketball, softball, swimming, soccer, golf coaches that will be getting these little cards. My daughter Mackie has only been a gymnast, and golfer so I really had no idea what to do with the other sports, but I think I have a great plan that can incorporate them all. I will hopefully post pictures on Wednesday or Thursday for your viewing pleasure, but in the meantime I will post some of my past projects to tide you over! LOL!
This card was a PPA card for a sketch challenge. I think this still remains as one of my favorites. I love the pink and green together, it is one of my favorite color combos. When I posted this card, I was a bit nervous because Ann Schach of stampinchic.com had a very similar card, they both turned out beautiful I think, and it was fun to see how similar but different the cards turned out.
This next card was a card that I made with the new Fun Flowers die for some good friends of ours that just had a baby girl. Again, pink and green, love the combo! I think now, that a little distressing, crumpling, & stamping on the flower would of made this card a little better, but it still turned out pretty.
This was another PPA challenge card that had scallops as our challenge. I decided to go with a beachy theme, and made the flower like little scallops. The bubbles were embossed with iridescent ice and turned out so sparkly. The "sand" was embossed, and don't forget the fabulous pearls!
Ok, that is all for now, hope you enjoyed them!
This cutie little purse was an Easter treat for my cousin Catherine. It is the perfect size for a Reese Egg, and the little card shown. This purse was also on Mary Fish's stampinpretty.com blog as a guest stamper post. This is my second card for her blog, and the comments were very sweet.
