PPA92
Today's PPA 91 challenge is a color challenge, Pear Pizzazz, Poppy Parade, and Peach Parfait. The three "P's". I got the inspiration from an ad in the Parent's magazine for Baby Orajel Naturals of all things. I really liked the flowers and colors, and they were very similar to the challenge colors.
I used an old sizzix die called daisy doily, that I bought for the scallop edges, this is the first time I have actually used it, and I thought it turned out pretty. I did feel that I needed to ad a neutral color in for my card base and Early Espresso fit in nicely.
The background stamp from Fresh Cuts, did the background stamping. Everything was spritzed and sponged for a slighty distressed look. The sentiment is from Word Play, and would not fit on the decorative label punch, so I just punched the Y out with a circle punch and paper pieced it in place. Leaves are from the Little Leaves Sizzlet die, and the poppy flower is two Simple Flower embosslits. The small flowers are from the retired three flower punch, and separated to give the sueded look and stacked on top of each other. Finish it off with Basic Pearls, and your done!
