Celebrate Today
Happy 4th of July! Wow, where has the time gone?! It is time for another fun Pals Paper Arts challenge. This week we have a patriotic color scheme, take a look, create something festive and head on over to the Pals Paper Arts to link it up.
A little rolled polka dot parade DSP makes the cutest firework, a little white baker's twine creates the perfect fuse.
How great are these two combined stamps? I love that you can say "Celebrate Today", then use the this and that rotary stamp to add the appropriate date, super fun, and a great way to make a memento.
Polka dot parade DSP, some striped embossed pacific point card stock make a great background. Who says the Hearts a Flutter stamp set and matching framelits have to be used for love? The striped banner is just perfect for any festive event.
I love the look of random rhinestones, but one thing that I CANNOT do well is random, my eye automatically looks for a pattern, so it is super hard for me to pull off the look, I will have to practice. The rhinestones add a bit of shine to this festive card.
I hope you enjoyed this fun festive 4th of July card. We will be on the lake all weekend long, Mackie has a sailing regatta this weekend, and practice for it today. Luckily we will have our boat with us and can watch the fireworks on the lake, which has become a family tradition. Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
