Heartfelt for the PALS

Welcome to February! It's time to get ready for another fun color challenge over at Pals Paper Arts! This week's challenge is inspired by the fun Valentine's goodies in the new Spring Catalog.  Remember, you can play along with any of your favorite products. Create something beautiful and link up at Pals Paper Arts on Thursday, February 7th! Can't wait to see your creations!

More Amore SDSP was the inspiration for this color challenge, Stampin' Up! is right on trend with the colors that they choose, it seems like where ever I am shopping, these colors are predominately displayed in the valentine's section.

Two flag shapes from Hearts a Flutter stamp set were stamped in versamark on pool party and die cut with the matching hearts a flutter framelits, I just lined them up, the main sentiment hides the gap.  A primrose petal heart was die cut on the new core'dinations card stock.

A cute pool party brad holds my red baker's twine bow in place.

My main sentiment was stamped in versamark, and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  The Layered Labels stamp set and matching apothecary accents framelits make quick work, and pack a huge wow factor.

I love how the inside turned out, remember use your scraps or whatever items that did not make it on the front to decorate the inside of your card while you have everything out.

All of the elements add up to a busy card, but I LOVE how it turned out.  It seems to strike the right balance with color and texture.  Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy.

Stamps:  Layered Labels, hearts a flutter
Paper:  More Amore SDSP, pool party, primrose petals, real red
Ink:  Versamark, real red
Tools:  Big shot, apothecary accents framelits, white embossing powder, heat tool, hearts a flutter framelits, fashionable hearts embosslits, pool party dotted brads, red bakers twine
