There's Only One You!

Surprise!  I have a wonderful surprise post for y'all, I was chosen as a guest designer for Sweet Sunday Sketch Challenge this week for my Polka Dot Kindness card that was chosen as a winner.  I am always so surprised when my cards are picked, there are so many talented crafters out there, that it is always an honor!

I started to build my card around this fabulous flower, it is super simple to do, I used the new creped filter paper, die cut four of the second to largest floral frames framelits, crumpled them up, and layered them up.  Add a center of round crimped circles in calypso coral, and a "cupcake" holder from the pop up posies kit.  A butterfly from the Collage Curios stamp set adds a perfect touch.

I love this sentiment from Vintage Verses stamp set.  I trimmed and punched out a center and layered it on some fancy trim from the artisan embellishment kit.

I SOOO wanted to sew on this card, but alas my new sewing machine is acting up, so I am off to the store for another one.  This new Tea for Two DSP, has wonderful spring colors.
