Christmas Perfection in a box

Oh my goodness, I have loved this Christmas box since SU had it for a promo way back in August.  I coveted this box, it just has so many great elements I just had to have it.  Good news, it can now be purchased as a kit!  The Pines & Poinsettias stamp set, ink pads and markers are not included now but everything else you need is included.

SU gives you all of the materials for this box, and plenty of it, a whole package of gold glitter, and pearls.  The die cuts, pearl bobble, buttons, twine & ribbon are also included as well as all of the necessary fabric and paper.  The kit's item number is 129024 and is $19.99.  You will need to add the Pines and Poinsettias stamp set, W-123762 $19.95, C-123764 $14.95 to get the same look.  Real Red, Wild Wasabi, and Early Espresso markers were used for the stamped images.  Sticky strip is a must as well on this box, so grab another roll while you are shopping.  You can get all of the necessary ingredients by shopping at my ONLINE STORE 24/7.

I pretty much followed the instructions, but of course I added a few of my own touches:

I clear embossed the top note die with the swirly stamp, and also stamped the real red die cut under the Christmas banner.

A Mini Jingle Bell 124116 was added, and I put a few more pearls under the Christmas banner.

I added a crystal brad in the center of my crumpled flower, curled the scallop border a little, and made my wild wasabi border a little bigger.  This box does take some time, but it is well worth it.  The pictures do not do it justice.  My cousin Catherine made a Christmas box as well and she is a novice stamper.  If you just follow along with the instructions, you will be fine.  There is a video of Shelli and her daughter completing the box for added instruction.

Get this kit while it lasts, since when they are gone, they are gone.  Thanks for stopping by, hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Sandi, your box is lovely! I agree with your comment about all the wonderful elements provided with this project. And, although your picture is great, a photo does not show off the wonderful glam of this box. My finished box will be treasured just as it is named... a Christmas Keepsake! I have taken advantage of the additional sale... they will make stunning gifts!
