Making Spirits Bright

Hello there!  Are you in full Holiday mode? We are definitely!  So how about some inspiration to get you going?  The Pals Paper Arts have a festive color challenge for you this week.  Take a look at the colors, create something festive, and link it up for your chance to be a PALS pick!

So, apparently last challenge I didn't know that I used two of the three challenge colors for this week, however the addition of crumb cake lightens everything up.

The Home for Christmas DSP has a ton of Christmas colors, I picked out the real red pattern and went with it!  I wanted a border so I used the star thinlet from the mini treat bag thinlets.  I just cut once, moved the die to the last star and cut one more time for a longer piece.  Texture is always key, and the decorative dots TIEF is very festive.

I made my own ornament with the metallic foil doilies, gold buttons, and some bakers twine.

The gold button could be substituted with a gold foil punched circle for easy mailing.  This is a good card for mailing and making a bunch of .  The colors are so crisp and clean!  I do hope you try your hand at creating with these colors this week, we would love to see what you come up with.  Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
