A cup of Cheer

Hello there! Are you ready for Fall?  I know I am, after 95 degree weather today, I am so ready for cooler temps.  The Pals Paper Arts have a great fall color challenge this week to help you get in the mood for Fall.  Grab your provisions and create something fun to have a chance to be a PALS pick this week!

I usually always start a color challenge by looking at my DSP to see which matches up.  Old olive is making a come back this year, it's a favorite.  The Pretty Petals DSP stack has at least three prints in this color alone, so it was a must use.  Delightful dijon and cajun craze make their presence known with the chevron embossing folder and the Chalk Line stamp set.  Don't hesitate to mix patterns, it adds more detail to your projects!

This stamp set was included with July's My Paper Pumpkin kit.  I thought it would be cute colored with the challenge colors.  Don't think that just because you haven't signed up yet that it is unavailable to you, that is not the case, if you join, you will have the chance to purchase past kits!  So if you like a specific set, sign up now before it's sold out.

This is a simple card that has a lot of color and fun details that make it stand out.  So always think color and texture, mix those patterns, and a little bling will always go a long way.

This past week Mackie had her Senior Experience week, it started with team building camp for three days with her whole senior class, they had a lot of fun and even participated in ropes courses.

When they returned, rested, and cleaned up, we had the annual Senior Breakfast.  It was a great chance for the parents and students to review and reflect on past years, and trips.  It was a wonderful presentation, and I only cried a little bit.  The seniors had the chance to write a little note and attach it to a sunflower, which would be delivered to the new kindergarten classes.  Happily Tate is in the class of 2028, and he was excited to bring a flower home.  It was biter sweet since we DO have a senior and a kindergartner at the same school so they both took part in this memento.

Well thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired today, enjoy!
