Happy Umpteenth (45th) Birthday!

Hello there!  Are you ready for a sketch challenge? The Pals Paper Arts have a great sketch this week that will work for any project.  Grab your provisions and play along, you might be our pick!

I knew that I needed a birthday card for my husband Chris, so the Oh My Goodness stamp set was the perfect starting point.  Add the matching deco labels framelits and you cannot go wrong!

I also needed some manly paper, so I picked a few prints from the pretty petals DSP pack.  Don't let the name fool you, there is prints for everyone.

Basic black bakers twine and my favorite gold metal buttons can dress this card up without being girly.

I HEART this new elegant dots TIEF, I think it is my new favorite.

I love the CAS look of this card, It was really quick and very striking at the same time.  Man cards are always a challenge for me, but with this sketch, it was very easy.

Well this was the year I was dreading, Mackie is starting her senior year of High School, and Tate is starting Kindergarten.  They are just about 12 years apart and are amazingly close.  Luckily they are at the same school, so Mackie will be close by and will even be able to volunteer in Tate's class twice a week.  I am so blessed to be the Mama to these sweet children.  This will be a big year!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I truly hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Your kids look fabulous on their first day of school! It's so great how close they are even with a big age gap.

I love everything about your card! The colors drew me in immediately but I also love the combination of textures and patterns. Perfect!
