Hello Friend

Oh, Hello there!  This is my goddess card for the Stampin' Royalty challenge blog.  This week's challenge is a fun late summer color challenge.  Grab your provisions, create something colorful and head on over to The Stampin' Royalty to link it up.

I really find that the Oh, Hello stamp set is so versatile.  It has great sentiments, chevrons, and a great oval chevron background stamp.  I really find it fits in with all kinds of styles.  I stamped the chevron arrows in soft sky ink on soft sky card stock, stamped the chevron outline in tangerine tango, for a great border.

I used two different DSP packs on this card, the Modern Medley, and the I am Me packs.  I usually will mix and match packs when we have a color challenge, you can always pick and choose what you need.

The Oh, Hello stamp was first stamped with the chevron oval stamp in so saffron, then the sentiment in tangerine tango, the new label bracket punch fits this sentiment perfectly!  Some cute orange and white bakers twine adds some fun.

Candy anyone?  This is my first time using the candy dots, and I love them.  They are so simple and easy to use, they come on a clear plastic sheet, so you can hold them over parts of your project to see what they would look like.  It makes it easy.

This card will be making it's way to my new friend Anne Burr, part of our Pretty Pals, she graciously helped me out when I needed some last minute supplies for a local vendor show coming up on Thursday.  Thank you Anne!  If you are in the Mooresville NC area, and would like to go to the vendor fair, it is on Thursday, September 12 from 9-11:30 a.m.at Randy's BBQ in Troutman, 103 North Main Street, Troutman, NC 28166.  Stop by my booth, introduce yourself and make a Halloween card!

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
