Lovely Romance

Hello there!  Welcome to this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge.  This week's challenge is a sketch challenge created by our fabulous resident artist Margaret Moody.  Take a look at the sketch, create something fun and head on over to the PALS to link it up!

My starting off point for this sketch was my new shipment of Venetian Romance suite items.  Starting on page 60 of the new catalog are some of my new favorites.  The Venetian Romance DSP was a great place to start. I picked two patterns that I loved, stamped this fabulous island indigo border with the Lovely Romance stamp set and trimmed it out with crisp cantaloupe ruffled ribbon, natural trim, a naturals designer button, an in color boutique button topped off with a basic pearl.  Pearls were also added to the center of each flower.  Fancy sewing finished it all off.

Lovely Romance says it all, I love this fun stamp, die cut with the chalk talk framelits, and you have a lovely duo.  Don't forget you can always stamp on the DSP, not just card stock!

I loved how this card turned out, it earns a place amongst my favorites, I will probably "hoard" it for a while before it is sent out.  Thank you so much for making my blog one of your stops, I truly appreciate each and every one of you, your sweet comments are always read and enjoyed.  I hope you were inspired today, enjoy!
