Happy Birthday Tate!

Hello There!  Welcome to this week's Stampin' Royalty challenge.  This challenge is a color challenge, take a look, grab your supplies, create something fabulous, and head on over to Stampin' Royalty to link it up.

This entire card was made in MDS2, then printed out.  I used the brand new free download split second for the chevron background, there are about ten of them lined up and recolored.  A simple rectangle with matting, a decorative label punch, many mustaches kit, and That's a wrap bow set ties it up.

I added a second part to the bow tie after it was printed out for added dimension. I glued it onto a gumball green card stock base, and my card was done.

I am not going to say that this card was quick, I am by no means a MDS2 expert, but in the end I am happy with it.

Since taking this picture, Tate is tickled by anything with mustache's on it.  Wait until you see a picture of him in his birthday shirt!

Here is Mackie holding her brother three years ago, they have both changed so much!  Tate came two weeks early due to me developing HELLP syndrome late in my pregnancy.  Luckily, I did not google it until after I had him, it would of scared me silly.  I delivered him fine, and have no lasting symptoms, thank goodness.  He and his sister Mackie bring so much to our lives and we are blessed to have them.

Thanks so much for stopping by, please leave me a comment and let you know what I think.  I will pass on all of the Happy Birthday messages to Tate, he is excited about his day.  I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Oh my Word your kids are So Gorgeous! And they always look so happy you have such a nice family! You are a star with MDS 2. You really should build a DVD to sell. I've not put any effort into it and some day will purchase Patty Bennett's DVD if you DON'T hurry up and make one! :)
