Wish Big!

It's that time again! Get out your crafting goodies and start getting ready for Thursday's Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge! This challenge goes live on July 5th. Join in on the fun at Pals Paper Arts!

This is my second challenge this week with daffodil delight, such a wonderful summer color!  I chose to do a "man card" as my good friend Cindy Hall calls masculine cards.  Her description always brings a smile to my face.

Let's start with this fabulous background, this is a well known technique, and so simple.  I inked up my chevron embossing folder with daffodil delight ink, put a piece of whisper white card stock in and carefully folded it.  Run it through your big shot and out it comes like this!  Stunning, just love it.

A bit of daffodil delight stitched grosgrain ribbon tied around the card, adds another pop of yellow.  The sentiment was stamped with itty bitty banners and cut with the bitty banners framelits.  I cut another cherry cobbler one, cut it in the middle and attached it to the sides for a layered look.

Pennants anyone?  I picked the manliest stamps from the Pennant Parade stamp set, punched out some shapes with the itty bitty punch pack and my 1/2 circle punch and layered them on.  Some cherry cobbler baker's twine ties them all together for an added effect.

I do love how this card turned out, probably because of the chevron background, it's so bright and fun.  Just perfect for a man card.  All of these supplies and more can be found at my ONLINE STORE all day long.  Thanks for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
