Welcome! Today's project is a card purse filled with three matching cards. The tutorial is HERE, it is very simple and easy to follow. I adjusted the height on my purse so that my cards are all the way inside.
Just about all products on this projects are from the new 2012-2013 Catalog:
- Primrose Petals, Raspberry Ripple new In Colors
- Pretty in Pink stitched grosgrain ribbon
- Vintage Faceted Designer Buttons
- Finishing Touches Edgelits
- Apothecary Accents Framelits
- Chevron Embossing Folder
- Patio Party Designer Series Paper
- From the Heart Stamp Set
- Papaya Collage Stamp Set
- Labels Collection Framelits
This stamp set From the Heart, was my big stamp set splurge. I love the vintage images, there is an outside stamp and a matching inside stamp, which I really appreciate. Markers were used to color the stamp for the multi-color look that is shown here.
This die cut shape is from the new apothecary accents framelits. This is the largest shape, and was a bit to big for my box, so I shortened it up a bit, by cutting it twice. I will have a detailed post on how to do this later this week. Another of the apothecary accents die was cut in the raspberry ripple and cut in half, the ends were glued to each of the ends of the main image.
The same die was used to make the finger hole in old olive. Here is a close up of the pretty new ribbon, and check out those vintage faceted designer buttons, just gorgeous! The border is the new finishing touches edgelits also in old olive. The Patio Party DSP matches just great. The ribbon is a retired SU ribbon that I have been hoarding, now is a great time to use it. Here are the three cards that go inside:
All three cards and envelopes tuck right and inside and are perfect for giving! Look at these great stamped images, you can do any style from vintage to clean and simple, love them!
I hope you were inspired today, now hop along for more inspiring ideas from Max Conrad at http://www.stamptothemax.com/, stop number 28 on the Pals New Catalog Blog Hop! Thanks for "hopping" by!
