Flower Fest Butterflies
It's time for another fabulous Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge! Join the PPA Design Team on February 2nd. You can't go wrong with this challenge - just add any red!
This definitely was a challenge, I pulled out all of my reds and tried to come up with a combo that I liked. My "reds" that I decided on are Rose Red, Poppy Parade, and Real Red. It seemed like a modern funky combo to me, so I went playful with some cute butterflies.
Here is that wonderful SAB Everyday Enchantment DSP that I cannot stop using! It worked great as my background. The butterflies were stamped with the Flower Fest stamp set and punched out with the butterfly punch. Each butterfly got a bit of bling with a basic rhinestone. The antenna's were stamped in the matching colors on the naturals ivory cardstock, and layered on real red.
The rose red flag was textured with the square lattice EF, and even though the baker's twine is Cherry Cobbler, it works here. A white brad holds it together, and another basic rhinestone finishes it off.
This Thanks sentiment, is quickly becoming one of my favorites, it is from the Rue Des Fleurs stamp set. I just love the font and the little flourish.
There you have it, a simple but elegant thank you card. See, even a bunch of different reds go together well, so grab your supplies and play along. Thanks so much for stopping by today, hope you were inspired, enjoy!
