PPA 117 ~ Gobble Gobble

This week's PPA 117 Challenge is CAS Elements of Style -Ribbon.  I have seen this turkey around the net, but with feathers made out of the five petal flower punch.  I thought it would be cute to substitute the paper feathers with ribbon, this weeks PPA challenge gave me the inspiration that I needed.  I used the layout from the Ka-Pow Challenge 004, which seemed to fit with what I had in mind.

This cutie little turkey is the owl body from the owl builder punch, his ears were sniped off, three different types of ribbon were looped on the back.  I used the smaller eyes, and the heart from the owl punch.  His nose is the tip of the petite pennants builder punch.  He is sitting on a scallop circle to make him stand out.

The color inspiration came from Berry Blossoms DSP, I thought that the bright colors still could be fall like.  I love this polka dot early espresso paper.  The little apples with the calypso coral and lucky limeade fit right in.  A little Friends tag was made using the Tiny Tags stamp set, and the jewelry tag punch.

Clean and Simple is usually hard for me to do, but using both the PPA challenge and the Ka-Pow layout, it was easy breezy.  Grab your provisions and play along, remember you can always shop 24/7 at my ONLINE STORE.  Hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Stamps:  Tiny Tags
Paper:  Berry Blossom DSP, Calypso Coral, Whisper White
Ink:  Early Espresso
Tools:  Owl builder punch, petite pennant builder punch, scallop circle punch, circle punch, ribbon, jewelry tag punch
