Delicate Doilies

This is my second card for a class that I had been preparing, there is one more project that I will post tomorrow, so check back for it.  This card is a CASE from Sandy Murphy HERE.  I changed it up a bit and added some embossing on the sentiment.  I really am loving the combo of Melon Mambo and Pumpkin Pie, it is almost taking over my other favorite color combo of pink and green.

The sale-a-bration set Punch Bunch was used for the sentiment, and was embossed with melon mambo embossing powder and punched using the square scallop punch.  I doubled up the ribbon in the knot with whisper white and pretty in pink.

Of course I can't forget the medallion!  The paper and the medallion come from the new specialty designer series paper Flirtatious.  There is a sheet each of melon mambo and pumpkin pie die cut doilies (I used the backside which is white for this card).  You can snip out whichever doily you would like.  Here's a tip, if you are layering like I did, I punched out the center of the doily to use on another project, that way it is not wasted hiding behind a layer.  The scallop trim border highlights the pumpkin pie strip of DSP, for a nice crisp look.  The stamped images are all popped up with dimensionals.  I love this card!

Ok, here are both of the cards from the class, I have a question for you, which card do you think was the more involved card, the one that took the longest to make?  They are both so different, but you can see how versatile the stamp set Delicate Doilies is to get such similar but different results.  Check back tomorrow for the answer to my question, and for the last item of the class!  Enjoy!
