Darling

Hello there!  So glad you could join me today.  We have a fun and fresh sketch challenge for you this week at the Pals Paper Arts challenge blog.  Create something fun, and you could be our next pick!

I knew from the Catalog kick off that I would heat emboss the Big on You stamp set in gold and on vellum, and lo and behold when I actually looked at the new catalog, the Stampin' Up artists beat me to it.  It's ok, we are good like that!  I still was able to put my own twist on it,

Blushing bride, crumb cake, vellum, and gold is a very beautiful combo, it's just hard to photograph well!

I wanted to add on to the main sentiment, and the Darling stamp from the Hello Darling stamp set seemed to be a perfect fit.  My stampin write markers add a soft look to the sentiment.

I thought some homemade arrows would work great for the flags on the sketch.  I used the petite pennants builder punch to make both parts of the arrows, and glued them to some tiny strips of crumb cake.  I couldn't pass up adding more gold, y'all know me!

Let's not overlook the sweet venetian crochet trim, I just love that ribbon.

I am pretty sure this card is going to my husband, which is nice having his card already made, and a month early, you can't beat that.

Have you been taking advantage of the Sale-a-bration?  It's a great time to be a Stampin' Up! customer.  There are some fabulous free items for you to earn with each $50 purchase. Shop ONLINE now for great new products.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
