Make a Wish!
Today I am going to share with you another Birthday in a Jar project. This project fits this week's The Stampin' Royalty challenge, All that glitters is Gold. So grab your golden provisions, then head on over to the Stampin' Royatly to link it up!
You might remember my Birthday Wishes Jar, this one is pretty similar but I used the great Sweet Sorbet DSP which is free during Sale-A-Bration with your qualifying purchase. Click on the above link for detailed instructions on making this cute jar.
This Birthday jar was made for our great friend Amy. Her son Max met Mackie through sailing and we all have become great friends since, you might remember some of these pictures;
So on Sunday sailing practice, Mackie was pleasantly surprised (ok, she was giddy) with an invite to go to prom with Max, he asked her in person, then sent her this:
On a summer sailing trip, Mackie had accidentally pronounced her assistive light on her cell phone as an assertive light, and ever since then, it has been their joke. Max used his "assertive" light to create this super cool picture with help from his mom Amy.
Prom dress shopping has already started and will continue this weekend, we have invited Amy to join us for the fun. Wish us luck on finding the perfect dress!
Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
Stamps: Perfect Pennants
Paper: Sweet Sorbet DSP, gold fancy foil vellum
Tools: big shot, banners framelits, chalk talk framelits, gold sequins, ribbon, bakers twine

Love the birthday jars. So cute and such a great idea.
I've silently followed your blog for some time now. I've seen a lot of your MDS work and I think you have mentioned that you have a silhouette cutting machine. I was wondering why you had picked a silhouette cameo vs e-clips cutting machine? I became a SU Demo last July and thought maybe the silhouette is better for SU products? If you have time to answer, that would be great. No worries, no hurries.
Thanks for sharing with us!
