A for Effort
Hello there! Today's card is my Goddess card for the Stampin' Royalty challenge blog. This week's challenge is a picture challenge, take a look at the picture, see what inspires you, create something fabulous and head on over to link it up.
This is such a pretty picture, I don't know how I ended up where I finished. I did know that I loved the striped stand and wanted to recreate it. I grabbed some new supplies that were sitting on my table and went to work. We have been so so busy here that my card was left to the last minute, and like it or not, the deadline was here and the card had to be done.
Smoky slate, crushed curry and strawberry slush were the colors that I used.
A bermuda bay paper bow with a basic gray taffeta bow adds some dimension.
When I showed my card to Chris and Mackie, Chris, ever the racer, said that every once and a while you spin and hit the wall. Mackie said that you can't always be a winner...
Our sweet dog Schyler hurt her leg on Friday, she ran into our patio furniture and did something to her knee, so we were at the vet most of Tuesday morning. The prognosis is up in the air, either she will heal by herself in the next month or she will have to have knee surgery. I am really hoping that she can heal since she turned ten this year, I don't know how well she would do with surgery now.
Ribbon share information will be posted tomorrow, so check back.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
