Hello Again!
Hello again my sweet blog fans! It has been a very busy few weeks. I am sorry that it has taken so long for me to post again, let me catch you up to date. My husband Chris works on the Stewart Haas Racing team, and our driver Tony Stewart won the Nascar Championship this year! Tony had promised that if he won, we all would go to Las Vegas for the champions banquet. Well let me tell you, a last minute trip sure does take a lot of planning, preparing, and recovering. Not to mention the trip was right smack in the middle of the Christmas season, so I have been behind schedule, but I thought I would share some pictures of our trip with you.
These are all pictures from the Bellagio, that is a real Christmas tree, a chocolate fountain, a Toy Story cake, and a Grinch sculpture.
This is at the Wynn Hotel, which hosted the banquet, some pictures of the "red carpet" area and Chris by the Sprint Cup.
We made a trip out to Hoover Dam, and I was amazed to see this new bridge! Last time I was there, there was no sign of a bridge. For me the bridge was almost more breathtaking than the Dam, it just amazed me. This trip to the Dam was bittersweet because the last time I was there, I was with my Dad, he passed away a few years ago, and is surely missed. He would always throw a quarter in and make a wish for us to have another baby, it took awhile for the wish to come true and unfortunately he was not here to meet Tate, but we will always keep him in our hearts.
So all in all an eventful trip, we are glad to be home and preparing for Christmas, both my brother and sister and their spouses are making the trip to North Carolina, and we cannot wait to share Christmas with them.
I will be back tomorrow to share a very special Birthday card with you, so please come back to see me!
