Beyond the Garden Card Class
Hey there! Sorry for the infrequent posts, but my daughter had EOG/EOC testing last week and finally finished yesterday. She got out of school early every day and boy did that mess up my stamping schedule! It was nice to have her home though, and I am really looking forward to summer!
Imagine my surprise today when I checked my emails, and I saw that Ann Schach from www.stampinchic.com mentioned my blog on her blog! I am so grateful, and welcome all of her readers to my blog, I hope you will be inspired!
I have been getting ready for a card class using the Beyond the Garden DSP. It is a bright and beautiful DSP. Using the bright colors have been a bit challenging to my creativity, but I am happy with the results. Here is one card that I made, I will have a second for you tomorrow for the PPA Challenge, so make sure and stop by tomorrow to see it.
I love the square lattice embossing folder (EF), and the depth and texture that it provides. Stamp your image first, then emboss for the above look. A snip of the top note die, stamped with the flower stamp from Friends Never Fade as a background, and the very versatile Curly Cute thinking of you stamp makes a great sentiment.

The itty bitty punch pack was used to make the flowers, topped off with basic rhinestones completes the flowers. A sweet whisper white bow gives just the right touch. A very simple card when you break down all of the elements, it is the little details that count.
This is the inside of the card, more itty bitty punches layered upon some DSP, and a daffodil delight scalloped edge border.
All of the above ingredients are SU and can be found in my SU store, so please feel free to browse by clicking on the shop with me button at the top of the page. I hope you enjoyed a walk in the garden with me, I will see you tomorrow with my PPA challenge card. Enjoy!
