Burlap and Blooms Wreath Kit

Hello there!  Today I am sharing with you one of my favorite new items from the new Occasions catalog. It's Anything Goes this week over at the Stampin' Royalty challenge blog, so I thought this burlap and blooms simply created wreath kit would be perfect to share with you.

Burlap and Blooms Simply Created Wreath Kit

The burlap and blooms simply created wreath kit comes just like this, with all of the pieces easily punched out.  Mackie and I completed this project together, and had a blast.  I do have some tips for when you assemble your wreath.

This daffodil yellow rolled fringe flower was the first one we did, and as per the instructions, we folded the prepared strip of paper in half, with a definite fold, after rolling it up, I noticed that the petals were folded closed and it was not as fluffy.  So for the rest of the flowers, I just tacked the sticky part together without folding the fringe part, I even fluffed the fringe even more before rolling it up to create the super fluffy flowers you see above.  It's totally up to you which look you prefer.

When I started this wreath, I really wanted to do it exactly like the model, since I wanted to see how hard it would be for some not so experienced stampers, and I found that it was pretty easy.  The instructions are very detailed and informative.

After I finished up with the hot glue, I added some special touches with the gold sequins and ribbons.  You can see cute little gold sequin loops and sequins on all of the flowers.  Some ribbon bows and I was finished.

I love little trios of sequins, so I glued on some random ones with my tombo mulitpurpose glue.

This is a great kit, and at $17.95 (133333), it is both a fun project to do, and also a great gift item for that special crafter.  It took about two hours to do on a lazy Sunday afternoon, now I just need to figure out where and how to hang it!

This Burlap and Blooms Simply Created Wreath Kit is perfect to help you get to your $50 order to earn a FREE SAB item.

Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
