Halloween for the Pals

Hello there!  I have a fun sketch for you today, The pals at Pals Paper Arts are hosting sketch challenges for the next two weeks, and I don't know about you, but I love sketch challenges.  They are a perfect way to jump start your card, so take a look at the sketch, grab your provisions, create something fun and head on over to the PALS to link it up.

Fun Halloween paper was called for today's sketch, and the Witches Brew DSP delivered.  This whole sheet of 12x12 paper is filled with fun chalkboard sayings, I just want to frame and display it as is!

The Halloween Bash stamp set is perfect for layering, each layer was punched out with the matching punches and layered on a leftover circle from the Halloween Banner simply created kit, I also used a summer starfruit button and some black taffeta ribbon from this kit as well.

Witches Brew washi tape helps add my horizontal element from the sketch, and goes on super quick and easy.

Cute, cute, cute, and pretty flat which makes it good for mailing.  Here is a mailing tip for you, I usually always use the crumb cake envelopes for mailing cards (especially if they are bulky), the paper is stiffer and heavier than the white envelopes and they hold up great in the mail.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Stamps:  Halloween Bash
Paper:  Witches Brew DSP, summer starfruit and very vanilla card stocks
Ink:  Basic black, summer starfruit, pumpkin pie
Tools:  Decorative label punch, scallop oval punch, oval punch, Halloween banner simply created kit, witches brew washi tape

love the layered sentiment and how you were precise in cropping the background paper to get just the right words!
