Sugar Skull Fun
Hello there! Today's spooky card is my Goddess card for the Stampin' Royalty challenge blog. It's picture inspiration week, so take a look at the picture, pick out what inspires you and grab your provisions! Will you go spooky, or fun?
Now I am not usually a Day of the Dead fan, but Mackie has spirit week this week, and one of the dress up day themes is Day of the Dead. So I fired up my new Silhouette Cameo and searched for a sugar skull. This one popped up and off I went to cut it out. I am by no means an expert on the cameo, I am still working the kinks out, but I can really see the possibilities, especially when paired with My Digital Studio.
Witches Brew DSP makes the perfect background, and the Sketch Alphabet & Numbers stamp set fits the card perfectly. Large basic rhinestones for eyes, of course, what else would you use?
This is a nice CAS card, great for anyone, and will be easily mailed. What about you, what do you think about the popularity of the Day of the Dead? I have to say I like it more now after cutting out this fun skull. I might have more projects for her dress up day, we will see.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
