Anchor's Away

Hello there!  Today's card is my goddess card for the Stampin' Royalty challenge blog.  Take a look at the picture inspiration, create something fabulous and head on over to the Stampin' Royalty to link up your creation.

This week's challenge was both easy and hard for me.  We have all things nautical in our home, the tough part was deciding which direction to go with this card.  This idea just popped into my head, and stuck so it was the direction I went.  The anchors from the retired happy whale clearlits die fit perfectly in the new modern mosaic embossing folder.  This is Mackie's favorite die, so we will be keeping it.

The mosaic madness stamps were lined up and stamped in strawberry slush, the anchors were cut in midnight muse for a fun color scheme.  Naturals ivory card stock was used on the base.

The fun new Chalk Talk set has not been off my craft room table since I received it.  I really love it, and since it is a bundle, it is discounted 15% making it a great budget worthy purchase.  Clear mount 132730 at $37.25, wood mount 132731 at $43.25.  Midnight muse satin ribbon dresses up the sentiment perfectly.

This is a very simple card, since I did not want to take away from the beauty of the background.  It will go in Mackie's stash for one of her sailing friends.

Here are some pictures that were taken at last week's sail camp, it was very fun, but very tiring.  Mackie had to be there at 8am, and some days we didn't leave until 8pm, so this week we will be taking it real easy.  Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Stamps:  Mosaic Madness, Chalk Talk
Paper:  Naturals ivory, midnight muse, strawberry slush
Ink:  Strawberry slush
Tools:  Big shot, happy whale clearlits die, chalk talk framelits, midnight muse ribbon, basic rhinestones
