Birthday for the PALS

It's time for another wonderful Pals Paper Arts Challenge! This week's challenge is a sketch challenge from the lovely Margaret Moody! So, start working on your project and get ready to link up on Thursday, May 16 at over at Pals Paper Arts, I can't wait to see what you come up with.

The sketch looks a bit difficult on the first glance, but once you start to really figure it out, it is a nice easy layout.  I made another birthday card since they are flying out of the house this month.  I pulled out my Fan Fair DSP which I have sadly overlooked, and went to work.  I wanted a really feminine card, so I chose the lace patterns of the paper pack.

The sentiment is from the Blooming with Kindness stamp set, it fit the card.  The pink pirouette DSP is in a lace pattern, and the large scallop edgelit fits the lace perfectly!

Dress it up!  The dress up framelit cuts the dress, and embossed with the lacy brocade embossing folder makes it FABULOUS!

The two tone ribbon in pink pirouette/rose red is simply folded, sewn, and pulled to make this pretty decoration, that is oh so feminine!

I love how this card turned out, it is on it's way to a special friend.  Oh, how I should of used this paper more, with it on the retired list, it will be going in my sale pile, so check back after June 3rd if you would like it.

I have also decided to offer two different ribbon shares for new ribbon in the upcoming catalog, so stay tuned for that info, EMAIL ME if you would like the specifics.  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
