Colorful May Birthday Card

Hello there!  Today's card is my goddess card for the Stampin' Royalty challenge blog.  This week's challenge is a colorful color challenge.  All of these colors have been added to the Stampin' Up! permanent line up, so grab your supplies, and head on over to the Stampin' Royalty blog to link up your creation!

May really seems to be the month for Birthdays!  A ton of birthday cards are flying out of here this month.  My new-to-me stamp set Delightful Dozen, has great sentiments, and is quickly becoming one of my go-to stamp sets.  I pulled out my scallop circle punches and created two quick circles, pierced around the large one, and paper pieced the sentiment.

The Pretty Postage stamp set is on the retired list, so grab it quick if it is a favorite.  I used the new Epic Day DSP, and Sycamore Street DSP for my background papers.

These cute little arrows were made using the new Epic Day washi tape.  I doubled it up (stuck it together) and cut it two different ways.  I secured the arrow with a single glue dot, so they stick up a bit and are fluttery.

There you have it, a colorful card using some old and new products.  We have been super busy here, and paper crafting has taken a back seat to my other love, home decor.  We are in the process of redecorating our home.  I want to keep my decor current, so out with the old colors and fabrics and in with the new.  I have been pouring over new fabric samples, and trying to come up with a cohesive color scheme for our downstairs space, which all rooms are open to other rooms, so it is a big challenge.

When the choices are made, I will sew the new curtains and pillows, and shop for accessories.  We did all of the painting previously, but since we are so busy, not to mention as young as before, we are having the painting done by a professional!  Yay, I am super excited about this part, actually I love it all, but having the painting done will be fabulous!

So, please stick with me even if I do not post as much, I still value all of your comments and feedback.  I truly do appreicate you!  I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
