Flower Fest Birthday

Hello there!  Today's card is my Stampin' Royalty challenge card.  Today's challenge is a picture inspiration, take a look at the picture, and grab your supplies and head over to Stampin' Royalty to show us what you came up with!

This card is definitely a mix of old, new, and retiring.  I needed a birthday card for my SIL Amber since today is her birthday.  She shares her birthday with my mom, who is no longer with us, so when I think of May 16th, I always think of them both.  Both of my parents are gone, it is really hard doing without them at such a young age.  At least my mom was able to meet Tate, which was a blessing.  Even though this card is for Amber, it has a bit of my mom in it, she loved flowers.

My main image is from the soon to be retired Flower Fest stamp set.  I love this set and hate to see it go.  I stamped the various flowers in whisper white craft ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder (must remember to get more white embossing powder).  The circles were cut out with the circle scissor plus and my glass mat, which are also retiring.  Get yours quick, they are invaluable!  I used the large scallop circle, five petal flower, and small circle punches for quick punches.

The whisper white background was embossed using the framed tulips EFBeyond the Garden DSP was used for the daffodil delight piece.  Both the circle and the DSP mat is poppy parade.

Here are the new items!  Both the stamp set Itty Bitty Banners, and the matching framelits, bitty banners will be in the new catalog, and available on June 1st.  Remember any $30 order you place through my ONLINE STORE through the end of the month will get you a free catalog mailed right to you!

The sentiment is "bitty" as the name states, I wanted to make it a bit longer, so I attached it to a longer piece of daffodil delight, and cut and curled the ends.  It is scored underneath so it stands out a bit.

There you have it, another birthday card!  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I will leave you with tomorrow's sneak peek for the PPA.  Hope you were inspired, enjoy!
