Hand-made Party Decorations

Yesterday, I showed you one of these cute little labels.  They were made with the My Digital Studio software.  I realized that I wanted to use the Apothecary Labels to label the candy jars, but I didn't have that stamp set.  I immediately downloaded it and went to work.  This label is one of the larger sized labels in the actual stamp set, but I wanted it a bit smaller, so I sized it down to fit the second to smallest label framelet.  Perfect!  I printed all eight on one piece of paper in black ink, then cut them right out with my framelet.  Easy Peasy.

I went back into MDS to do the candy labels, I just typed names and printed it out on wisteria wonder CS.  The Circle Circus stamp was stamped on the ends, and voila, beautifully printed candy tags.  So what are we doing with these tags?  Well take a look:

We had a Candy Table at Mackie's party.  All of the candy and snack items were either white, black, or purple.  It was very fun!  The girls got their own bag to fill with candy.  It was a big hit!

We also made some hat boxes for table decor.  Very easy, just paint with black craft paint and decorate.

This was one of my favorite party favors, The Jones Soda Company, will make personalized labels for your special event.  I have always wanted to have these done, but Mackie's party's usually have a big invite list.  This year, we only had 10, so it was the year to do it.  There is also a sweet birthday poem that I had printed on the side.

This is just a few items that the girls took home with them.  It was a sleep over party, and I know they didn't get to sleep til around 4am.  But all had fun.

I hope you were inspired today to use your craft items for things other than cards or scrapbooking.  Just look around you, most things can be duplicated with just a bit of time and creativity, so step out side the box and have a ball!

Oh my gosh, You did an awesome job making the labels for the candy jars. I had no idea that Jones Company made labels for individuals -I also want to someday have the M & M's with personalized pictures.-Makes everything special for the receiving person :-)
