Mackie's Party

Hello there!  We have been very busy with planning Mackie's Birthday Party, and it went off without a hitch on Saturday.  I would love to share some pictures of the event with you.  Since there is so much to show you, I plan on breaking it down into different posts.  Our theme was a Purple and
Black party, so the Wisteria Wonder color fit right in.  Tomorrow is the Pals Blog Hop, and I will have some great party ideas to show you, so keep in touch over the next few days!

This was on our front door to welcome everyone to the party.  We had high winds, so I had to move it around to the inside of the door after the party started.  This is a big rosette, about 12 inches wide, the edge was punched first with the scallop border punch before scoring.

I made my own DSP by using the new SAB Fresh Vintage stamp set in whisper white and basic black, an M from the Serif Alphabet bigz dies.  I love this alphabet set, it is a borrowed set, and now I have it on my list.

Here are some little decorated glass bottles that I had made for drinks.  My sample had these embellished with ribbon, but in the end we went simple.  A simple scallop punch with a layered silver glimmer circle, and a circle stamped with the circle circus stamp set finished off the center.  The straws were black stripe and purple stripe paper straws.  The flag was made with the pennant parade stamp set and pennant builder punch.

Here is the small cake table, we had three cakes with all different flavors.  La Patisserie did the cakes and they were beautiful.  We chose to do Mac's initials on each cake.

Picture overload, I know!  This is a good stopping point for today, so make sure you come back for tomorrow's PALS Blog hop to see more great hand made paper crafts!  I hope you were inspired today, enjoy!
