Welcome to my very first Pals Paper Arts DT post.  If this is your first time here, Welcome, and if you are one of my Pretty Provisions subscribers, Welcome back!

Today's Pals Paper Arts Challenge is a color challenge using the colors of Baja Breeze, Not Quite Navy, and Very Vanilla.  The Pals Paper Arts Challenges welcome all products and players. We have even extended the deadline for participation to one week so there's more time to join in the fun. We can't wait to see what you have created!

This card is made using some very new and wonderful Stampin' Up! goodies.  This stamp set Rue Des Fleurs is quickly becoming one of my very favorite sets.  The corset image was stamped in not quite navy on very vanilla paper.  I colored in the bottom of the corset with my champagne mist shimmer paint, for a beautiful pearl finish.  Of course I had to add some basic pearls and some spritzing to finish it off.  Both the corset piece and the not quite navy piece are die cut using the new Labels framelets.

Do you notice the rosette?  It is made using the new Adorning Accents Edgelets die.  I cut two pieces of the "label" shaped die, and scored every 1/4 inch, just like a regular rosette, then adhered them together and flattened it out.  So instead of a circle, you have a bit of an oval with a top and bottom flare.  I do like the look of it, but will definitely do more practice for perfection.

I felt the card needed some more very vanilla, so a piece of the new Attic Boutique DSP was used.  It has just the right amount of blue to match.  The mini vintage tag fits right under the double victoria lace bow.  The thank U is from the Tiny Tags set and stamped in not quite navy and is attached to a knot of baja breeze seam binding ribbon.

Once I started with the champagne mist shimmer paint, I couldn't stop!  There is a bit on the rosette, around the corset edges, and on the vintage wallpaper embossed not quite navy label.  I love the bit of shimmer you get by just using a bit on your empty aqua painter.  A little goes a long way.

So what do you think of today's card?  Are you inspired to CASE it?  I hope you are, and would love to read your comments, I enjoy them all.  Remember to grab your supplies, create, and post at the Pals Paper Arts site, I cannot wait to see what you come up with.  Thanks for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

What a gorgeous card! Terrific design, and I really liked the clever use of the edgelets die for your rosette. Also, the shimmer paint really added a luscious bit of glamour.

Congrats on becoming part of the PPA DT, you will be a wonderful addition to an already amazing and talented team!!
