Boo Banner

October has been a busy month for us, so sorry that I have not posted as much.  I was able to get in the craft room on Saturday before we went to the Balloon Festival and was able to make this cutie little BOO banner for my SIL Amber.

The DSP is a digital download of Frightful Sight DSP that was graciously shared by Sandra Farrell.  I made it my own by using a flag cut background that had been rolled with the Haunting wheel in versamark, then embossed in clear embossing powderCajun Craze and Old olive are the background colors

The letters were printed out and punched using my 1 3/4 circle punch and the edges were glittered up using my silver glass stampin glitter.  A rosette was made from black cardstock scored at every 1/4 inch.  Here is a great tip for you.  Don't hesitate to get your glue gun out to assemble all of the layers.  It is a breeze to use and will not come undone.  This really was an easy project, and with the glue gun, it went together in minutes.

I just tied it all together with ribbon and it was done, ready to pack up and deliver.  We met my family at the Balloon festival and dropped it off.  I thought you might enjoy a beautiful night picture of the balloons all doing a burn.

The last flight of the day, there were at least 50 hot air balloons, it was a perfect fall day.  All these balloons make me think of the Up, Up and Away stamp set, great inspiration!  I hope you were inspired today, thanks for stopping by, enjoy!

Stamps:  Haunting wheel
Paper:  Frightful Sight digital download, old olive, cajun craze, basic black
Ink:  versamark
Tools:  heating tool, clear embossing powder, simply scored, ribbon, silver glass glitter, circle punch
