Pals November Blog Hop

Welcome to the November, 2018 Blog Hop with Stampin’ Pretty Pals. Holiday cards are done. It’s time to start on gifts and gift wrap. Let the Stampin’ Pretty Pals inspire you with “Anything But A Card” today.

You may be starting the hop here or coming from a previous Pal’s blog. Either way, you’ve come to the right place. You’ll find the the full line-up below to help you move, or “hop” along from Pal to Pal.

Hello there!  I've been gone a while but still have been crafting, just not sharing, which I need to do better about that.

I made this type of tree a long while ago, you can click HERE to see the originals, I wanted to remake and updated them. I decided to dress them up and use the oh so pretty Frosted Floral SDSP.  You can find the full tutorial HERE

I used 6, 5,5,4,3 inch scallop circles on the large tree, and 5,4,3 inch scallop circles on the small trees.  I cut my circles using my Cameo, but any dies or framelits will work.  You can also do this using regular circles, not scallops.  I had a lot of fun die cutting the ornaments for the tree, the small berry twig is my absolute favorite die cut, especially cut in our gold foil.

But first, have you seen this SDSP?  Each and every page has a beautiful pearl shimmer, it is absolutely gorgeous!

I used the Merry Christmas stamp from the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set, I used my blackberry bliss stamp-n-write marker on the merry first, then cleaned and stamped the christmas right next to it, so I can have a long sentiment. Vellum was the perfect choice.  I painted the tiny terra cotta pots and wooden dowels on top with a platinum colored acrylic paint.

I definitely love how they turned out, and will be making a lot more of these for gifts, they go together pretty quickly and are fun to make.

Get more inspiration using the Blog Hop Line-up below. My fellow Pals are excited to show you what they’ve created. Don’t forget to show us some love by commenting on our creations.

Mark your calendars for Wednesday, December 12, 2018 for the next Pals Blog Hop. It will be a glitzy affair with All That Sparkles and Shines. Don’t miss the fun!
