Lucky For You
Hello there! Can you believe that it is already MARCH! The time seems to be ticking by, hence the St. Patrick's Day project I have for you. Lucky for you the colors this week match perfectly, so grab your provisions and create something lucky. Maybe you will be our pick of the week.
Ok, where to start?? How about the fabulous new mini treat bag thinlits dies? I cannot stop making bags with this fun die set. The bag and the four leaf clover were made with items in the set. The clover is just four heart die cuts, scored in the middle and glued together, very easy. A Gold foil circle makes the perfect resting point for the clover.
The Itty bitty banners stamp set and matching bitty banners framelits dies, make a quick, cute sentiment. Of course it is stamped in gold on vellum, my favorite! Gold bakers twine and button finish my clover nicely.
Who said that the stacked with love DSP stack is for Valentine's Day only? Not I, just flip the paper over and you have some great black and white graphic prints.
Ahh, burlap ribbon, I love it so, it is a great neutral to break up the black and green. I wanted a long tail, so I just sewed a quick zig zag to hold the ribbon in place, I even like the black threads, so I left them there.
The bag was super easy to die cut, emboss, and put together. After I embossed each piece of the bag with the large polka dot embossing folder, I realized that I should have put it all together then emboss it, much easier that way I believe. There is always the next time.
Usually when creating, I will get everything mocked up in place to see if I need to add/delete before using adhesive, so when my husband came in and said "I like that one" I knew it was good to go. Now I just need to add some candy, and it is done.
OK, so now the sad news.... You only have a few more weeks to take advantage of FREE SAB items, but guess what? Stampin' Up! has released four new free items, YAY! Click HERE to see them. Shop ONLINE now to grab your free items.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
