Sending Good Thoughts

Hello there!  Happy New Year to y'all!  I am sending good thoughts your way today to all of my loyal blog readers.  I am hoping that 2015 will be a great year for everyone.  To start this year off on a creative step we have a fun color challenge at the Pals Paper Arts challenge blog.  Check out the colors, create something fun and link it up for your change to be a PALS pick.

When I usually get the color challenges, I always head to my DSP to see what can be used.  I love the Maritime DSP and found a piece that had just night of navy.  The lady popped right out at me so I made sure to trim my background so she would be placed just right.

I love the impact that heat embossing provides, and embossed in silver embossing powder, it is crisp and clean, and oh so pretty. Do you spy the embossing on the wisteria wonder flag?  Yes, silver again.

The silver and gold foil paper that we have embosses wonderfully with the embossing folders, I am always so pleasantly surprised to see how beautiful it transforms.

I grabbed a piece of the white and silver bakers twine from the November MPP kit, I love it and found that I just want to hoard it.

I found that this color combo could really be used for anyone, the wisteria wonder is a grayish color, not to girly, and the silver is just fabulous.

We had a great Christmas, I was finally on the mend after being sick for almost THREE weeks.  It surely was hard being sick during the holidays, but Chris and Mackie really helped out.  I hope you and your family had a wonderful Christmas filled with love and family.

Don't forget that Stampin' Up! bonus time is just right around the corner.  Sale-A-Bration starts January 6th.  What is bonus time you ask?  When you order $50 in fun stamping supplies, you can choose a fabulous item out of the SAB catalog FREE!  How fun is that?!  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Sandie, I would not have noticed the heat silver emboss on the WW banner if you had not mentioned it. Was this done using VersaMark with an embossing folder? Love the card as well as the reminder of Maritime DSP! Happy New Year and hope you continue feeling better!!!

I had to look hard to see the lady! I'm not good at that but I found her! I love how you used the DSP with all the silver embossing. Great card, Sandie. Glad you're feeling better too!
