Oh Santa!
Hello there! Have you made your first Christmas card of the season? Well this is mine, and I am happy to say "bring on Christmas"! Let's jump start your Christmas card stash with this great sketch from the Pals Paper Arts. Link up before Tuesday at noon, ET for your chance to be a PPA pick!
As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew a gate fold card that resembled Santa would be perfect. Out came my hoarded shimmery white card stock, champagne glimmer paper and gold buttons. Gate folds are very easy, you just have to have an element to help hold the "gate" closed.
I was going to have my sentiment from November's My Paper Pumpkin hold Santa's belt closed, but I thought that holly berries and leaves would work nicely. The flower fair framelits and punched red circles made cute and different holly leaves.
It's hard to see, but the white is shimmery white card stock, it's one of my favorite ways to add some oomph to your projects.
I had a fun time working on this card, it was a great way to usher in the Christmas season. I know you are all super busy, but now is the time to start your Christmas projects. Stampin' Up! has some wonderful supplies that can help you achieve a perfect handmade Holiday. You can shop at my ONLINE STORE right now to plan your projects.
Thanks so much for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
