Hello Darling Boy
Hello there! I am happy to be back in the craft room creating now that summer is winding down. All of our trips have been traveled, and school will start back in a few short weeks. This week at the Pals Paper Arts we have a summer inspired color challenge for you. Take a look at the colors, create something FAB, link it up, and you could be our next pick!
I am sure by now you have seen the Hello Darling stamp set used, it has quickly become a favorite. This was my first try with it, but I have to say I am a big fan. I used my stampin write markers in our challenge colors and colored the stamp. Add a dash of sweet sadie washi tape, and the "boy" stamp from A Dozen Thoughts stamp set and it was complete. Out came my banners framelits to give the sentiment some flair.
I've had this chevron tag a bag on my craft room table for a while now, it had been used but I could not throw it away. Since it was a little crinkled, I decided to emboss it with the large dot embossing folder to smooth it out and texture it. LOVE how it turned out.
A few of the stars from the July My Paper Pumpkin also made their way to the card, along with some island indigo bakers twine.
This is a 5x5 card which will be mailed to some friends that just had a baby boy. A custom made envelope was made with the envelope punch board, I love this tool, it has quickly become a staple in my crafting.
Don't forget the BIG SHOT special is going on, I love my big shot, I just about use it on everything I make, it's very versatile! Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
