Prom fun

Hello there!  I thought to catch y'all up on what we have been busy with.  Mackie went to prom on Saturday, and I know that my faithful readers would like to see pictures!

But first, the "moms" decided that it would be best if we had Max's bow tie and pocket square made from fabric of Mackie's dress.  Her dress was very long, so we used the extra fabric to do this.  When the bow tie was finished, Mackie made a card to go with it.  Here is the card:

It was a small 3x3 card made using basic black and rich razzleberry.  Mackie heat embossed the You and Me from the Perfect Pennants stamp set in silver embossing powder.  A small strip of DSP (I am not sure which she used) and a bit of rich razzleberry ribbon finished the card.  She wrote a sweet note inside and tucked it into a box tied with black ribbon.

Ok, now on to the cutest pictures ever, Amy, Max's mom is a wonderful photographer, so the day was well documented!

The very next day, Max and Mackie decided to put their prom attire back on and go sailing.  What?!?  That's what true sailor's do, they love to sail!  They really just did it for pictures, but could not resist having fun.

And of course, since the wind was good, they changed into their sailing gear and went back out for an hour of sailing.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!  I have resolved my computer problems, so hopefully I will be back to posting on a regular basis.  Make sure you come back on Thursday, since the PPA will have a super post celebrating the 200th post!  One lucky participant will receive a wonderful surprise!  I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

All choked up! Such a sweet event for these two! Did Mackie think of taking a pc. of her dress to make the card and bow tie all by herself? So sweet! These pics looks like a memorable moment! Congratulations!
