Snowflake Fun

Hello there!  Snowflake fun is on the agenda for the Stampin' Royalty weekly challenge today.  Anything snowflake related will do, so grab your provisions, create some sort of snowflake, then head on over to the Stampin' Royalty to link it up.

I made this snowflake ornament completely out of MDS and my Cameo.  I downloaded the Festive Flurry Kit to use on My Digital Studio.  The shapes come as a "punch", so I imported them to my Cameo, then cut as many as needed both in the standard sizes and enlarged sizes.  I made them pretty much like the festive flurry ornament kit, with a layer or two folded like a rosette.

A natural button with a cherry cobbler bakers twine bow finishes off the center.

I am really loving MDS, especially when paired with the Cameo.  You can cut a whole page at one time in whatever sizes you need.  It is a duo that is invaluable to crafters!  Tomorrow I will showcase another project made with this duo, so stop back by to see it.

Season of Style DSP and silver glimmer paper were my goto supplies for this project, the timeless Christmas colors are beautiful!  Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

Paper:  Season of Style DSP, silver glimmer paper, old olive card stock
Tools:  MDS, Cameo e-cutter, naturals buttons, cherry cobbler bakers twine

What a wonderfully creative idea! Your giant snowflake idea would make a great package topper instead of a bow ---- you've got me thinking now! TFS!
