Elephant Birthday
Hello there! Today's card features the colors for this week's Pals Paper Arts challenge. The colors are fun, fresh and trendy. Grab your supplies, create something colorful and head on over to the PALS to link it up.
This cute little elephant was made using punch art. The circle, oval, owl builder, and small heart punches were used along with the hearts embosslits.
This smoky slate chevron ribbon bow is pretty as you please. The bow was tied, then the ends were threaded through the tabs of the chalk talk tag. Some sticky strip holds it in place, and holds the ends that are tucked behind the Eastern Elegance DSP. Do you spy the toned down Epic Day DSP that the tag is made out of? I used a light coat of gesso to add visual texture and tone down the bright yellow.
The hostess stamp set Banner Greetings is simple to snip out, curl the ends a bit and you are good. Another look at the fun tag, and the modern mosaic embossing folder.
This cute card is winging it's way toward my niece Josie, who will be celebrating her 2nd birthday on Friday. Happy Birthday Josie!
Here are some fun sailing pictures of Mackie and her friend Max. They have been racing sailboats in Charleston all July long.
They competed in the Charleston Open this past weekend and WON their 420 class! This was the first win for each of them outside of high school sailing. We are very proud parents.
Yes, the boat is supposed to be on the side like this. It is called a roll tack, and if I am not prepared for it, it scares me silly.
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
