Anything Goes!

Hello there!  This week's challenge for the Stampin' Royalty is an easy one, it's Anything Goes week.  Yep, you read right, you can link up any card, scrapbook page, or 3D item, so there is no reason for you not to head on over to Stampin' Royalty and show us what you got!

I have had this white painted wood plaque in my craft room for at least six months.  I picked it up somewhere and thought I could really do something with it, then never got around to it.  When I was planning my project, I didn't want to do a card, it has been a while since I have done any 3D, I saw this on my shelf, I knew that it was time.

My new favorite DSP Eastern Elegance was just perfect for this project.  I wanted to incorporate the new strawberry slush, since I love pink, so I just stuck with the coastal cabana prints for this project.

This is my favorite ribbon ever!  I am stuck between wanting to hoard it and use it on everything, good thing this fabulous coastal cabana ruffle stretch ribbon will be around for two years.

I simply made a pattern of the wood using wax paper, then cut out the shape, traced and cut on card stock, then traced and cut it on my DSP.  I wanted a bit of the wood showing, and I did not want the paper perfect since the wood already had some distressing.

I die cut one of the chalk talk framelit dies, used the outer negative piece, lined it with more Eastern Elegance DSP, and punched a small scallop punch, pulled out my Collage Curios & Whimsical alphabet stamp sets and made a cute monogram for myself.  I think that I am going to add some basic pearls though to the top and bottom of the frame to dress it up.

I love it!  On my desk it goes, even with the pink!  Check out some fun family pictures, we have been remodeling the house, so have been super busy, you can see one of our projects behind Tate.  I will post some pictures later about that, it was a fun project and turned out fabulous.

Here is our sweet whippet puppy Paisley, we are really lucky with her, she is a wonderful addition to our family, and has meshed right in.  Schyler our fox terrier is finally doing better after her ACL injury, much to our relief, she is our special girl.

Thanks so much for stopping by today, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!

So pretty! I think I need to make something like that for my craft room wall. I have a couple of empty spaces that "need" something!
