Pretty Provisions for the Home; Candles

Hello there!  Today's post is my goddess project over at the Stampin' Royalty challenge blog.  I am going to try to keep it short and sweet since we all are very sick now, and have been sick for the last week.  Luckily I had this project done already and had saved it for a rainy day, so today is the perfect day to share!

This week's challenge, by the way is ribbons and pearls, so grab your supplies, create something fabulous and head on over to the Stampin' Royalty to link it up!

I altered this candle for my son's preschool Valentine's day fundraiser basket.  I found the candle at Homegoods, took off the stickers and went to work.  I used the chalkboard technique and started layering ribbon and die cuts on top.  There are a few pearls in the flowers, but hard to see!

As you can see, lots of layers.  For a project like this, you really need to use a glue gun to make sure that everything sticks and continues to stick.  All items are SU products, but if you have a specific question on which item was used, send me an email!  We are off to rest, so we can get better and enjoy the rest of the spring break!  Thanks for stopping by, I hope you were inspired today, enjoy!
