Bunny Fun
Hello there! Today's card is my goddess card for the Stampin' Royalty weekly challenge blog. This week's challenge is a picture challenge, so take a look at the picture, grab your supplies and head on over to the Stampin' Royalty to link up your fabulous creation!
I love pinks and greens together, and that cutie bunny in the back of the picture just made me want to add some punch art. I remembered the cute bunny behind punch art that Mary Fish showed us last Easter, so I grabbed some punches and went to work. I modified the colors and the size of the bunny to what I had in mind.
I sponged the edges with primrose petals ink, used my large oval, and 1 1/4 circle punch, the ears are made from the blossom builder punch. The small heart punch with a basic pearl makes my bunny tail.
I layered a bunch of scrap card stock for the bunny's background, did some sewing and done!
I made my own background paper by stamping the distressed dots background stamp first in versamark, then heat embossed it with white embossing powder, I love the soft shiny look it provides.
The Delightful Dozen stamp set provides the sentiment, which is such a perfect font, nice and curly. The finishing edges edgelits makes a nice edge, and the Patio Party DSP fits my color scheme perfectly.
This big 5x5 card is a cute and colorful Easter card, it is pretty flat so I should not have any problem mailing it out. I really hope you enjoyed this polka dotted bunny card, it was fun to make. Thanks for stopping by, I hope you were inspired, enjoy!
